I havent updated recently and my previous journal was starting to depress me everytime I came on here.

What is the meaning of life? I refuse to believe that such a thing doesnt exist; the same as I refuse to believe that its just to procreate. If such were the case, why not just kill ourselves now and get it over with?

Besides, theres something that calls out to people, something that makes us want to live. Its not a fear of the unknown that keeps us alive (for death leads to the unknown), there is some force within this world (and possibly outside of it) that drives us to keep going day to day.

But what is this thing? Certaintly by finding out what this thing is we can deduce the meaning of life. Can't we? I have no doubt that human life as we know it will never come to the knowledge of what the meaning of life as a whole is. We may be able to define our own personal meaning, but as a whole group, I dont see it coming about.

Only time will tell...
